Howie chats with me about being a dad and the values he and his wife look to instill into his kids. Then we finish the interview with the Fatherhood Quick Five.
About Howie Dorough
Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Howie Dorough’s passion for music and entertaining was evident as early as age. With his little guitar, he would sing around the house for his family. Clearly bitten by the show biz bug, Howie spent his childhood taking dance lessons, singing lessons and acting lessons. He would be performing in school productions, singing in choir, and, as he puts it, “doing anything to break into the business.” He acted in a Nickelodeon TV production. He starred in a commercial for Walt Disney World. Howie even landed roles in movies such as Parenthood and Cop and a Half. Howie studied music at the University of South Florida until he got his big break as a Backstreet Boy at the age of 19. As everyone knows, he has been performing all over the world with BSB ever since.

This week’s podcast is being brought to you by Belcampo.
Belcampo was founded with a purpose: to create meat that’s good for people, planet and animals. What started as one mom’s desire to feed her family the healthiest meat possible became a mission to revolutionize the industry from the inside out.
In 2012, the 27K acres that would become Belcampo Farm was purchased. They have expanded to include their own FDA-approved processing facility, full-service butcher shops, and restaurants serving authentic farm-to-table dining experiences. All this, so that they can own the supply chain and offer their customers total transparency from start to finish. For more information go to their website belcampo.com.
