Nick Thune sits down with me to talk about his new tour called Sad Music Sad Comedy that he is doing with singer-songwriter Damien Jurado. Nick shares with me his views on the world of stand-up and his creative process.

About Nick Thune
Nick Thune is a comedian and actor, hails from Seattle, where he spent his early years growing up. Nick’s absurdist view and deadpan wit combined with the soothing lull of his guitar, have distinguished his unique style of comedy. Nick is teaming up with singer-songwriter Damien Jurado for the Sad Music Sad Comedy tour with dates across the country and in Canada in January 2020.
Nick will appear in the HBO Max romantic comedy anthology series Love Life alongside Anna Kendrick, directed and Executive Produced by Paul Feig.
Nick has appeared on The Tonight Show 11 times, Conan 2 times, and Late Night 1 time. On each occasion, he won. He performs comedy to sold out crowds across the country and around the world, and he has been featured at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival, South By Southwest, Bonnaroo, The Moontower Comedy Festival, The Dublin Comedy Festival, The Melbourne Comedy Festival, and many more.
