This week for the These Dads Are Doing It Right series I wanted to share with you a few dads that cook for a purpose. These dads really care their community and want to help in a way they feel can be a big impact to their community. If there are any other dads that you think we should check out leave their name and info in the comment section below.
Jonathan Jones – Cooking For A Purpose
Born in Nebraska and raised in Phoenix, AZ Jonathan Jones has always been a student of the BBQ game. Since 2015, “Jonathan BBQ” has been combining his love for barbecue and content production. With his “Your Grill, Your Rules” mantra, Jones looks to inspire everyday people to get out and cook for their family, friends and community. On his website, he states, “Being a husband & father is the greatest joy of my life. I pride myself on exemplifying faith, family, integrity and community.” With the funding he’s received and the help of his staff and volunteers, Jones has been able to feed over 1,000 people with quarterly “cooks” throughout the downtown Phoenix area. Well done Jonathan.
