Do you remember when you didn’t have any streaming services? You sat down on Friday’s with the family to watch the full TGIF lineup. These days there is so much content that you might get bogged down on what you should be watching. So I am here to help you with a selection of shows and movies that are perfect for the family, date night and a show you can watch all by yourself. In addition I had the fantastic honor to interview actors and producers from these movies and shows. Plus, you have a chance to win a copy of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. So the next time someone asks you, what are you watching you can give them a few answers.
Big Shot – Disney+
In season two of “Big Shot,” Marvyn Korn (Stamos) returns to Westbrook with a new fire, ready to show that his basketball team belongs in D-2 and that he’s still the championship-winning, powerhouse coach he was in the NCAA. Marvyn’s latest plan toward relevance is to get his team broadcast on ESPN and his method is to recruit an unlikely player: Ava (Echeagaray), a gutsy beach volleyball phenom whose public tantrum got her ousted from her own sport. Between losing their assistant coach Holly Barrett (Gilsig) to a rival school, new friction amongst teammates, a sudden and unexpected proximity to boys, and off-the-court disasters that no one could’ve predicted, this season, the Westbrook Sirens have even more to prove. Check out a clip from my interview with John Stamos.
From Scratch – Netflix
From Scratch is based on Tembi Locke’s best-selling memoir, From Scratch: A Memoir of Love, Sicily, and Finding Home, about the loss of her beloved husband, Sicilian chef Saro Gullo, who died of cancer in 2012. The TV adaptation follows Amy (Zoe Saldaña), a budding artist, and Lino (Eugenio Mastrandrea), who dreams of being a chef, as they meet in Florence while Amy’s studying abroad, fall in love, build a life in Los Angeles, and face a devastating tragedy together. Actor, Keith David shares why he loves this series.

With these two ships on a collision course and destruction on the horizon, the fate of the Alpha Quadrant hangs in the balance.
